March 10th,
2004 - At
around 3 o'clock
today in the
Magic
Kingdom
(WDW), one
of the boats on the Jungle Cruise started to
take on water shortly after the Hippo pool
section of the attraction. This boat had just
come back into service from being in rehab.
Guests started to notice water rushing in from
the bottom of the backside of the boat. The
Skipper of the boat quickly took action by using
a guest’s cell phone to call 911 and to be
connected with Walt Disney World Response teams.
All the guests were safely evacuated from the
attraction and it went 101 for the remainder of
the day. An investigation has begun of the
attraction’s maintenance record.
This is the first time a Jungle Cruise boat has
gone under since Walt Disney World opened in

22nd, 2004 - Got bored so I started messing
around with stuff on the site. Ha, after two
years! Maybe I will get into it again.
May
2nd, 2002 - Still working every night on the
site. I am taking suggestions, or anything you
would like to add. I just finished up a bunch of
sections, go ahead and check them out!

30th, 2002 - I added both Jungle Cruise
Jokes, and Pranks. If you would like to help
with this please contribute! I am not yet
finished with these pages. Actually, I open to
anything really, if you send me a story, trip
report, joke, prank, skipper directory info,
pictures, links, or anything else, I will
probably post it up on the site.
I am also looking into
registering a domain. I have had my eyes on
www.Junglecruise.com for some time now. So if I
start getting more hits, I will look into it. It
will sure beat the heck out of ads.
April
29th, 2002 - Hello everyone, I have done a
little bit of updating this evening. I posted an
interesting boathouse story submitted by
MonorailBlue in the stories section. I may also
start up a better Discussion Board, so keep your
eyes peeled.

There are over 30 registered skippers so far. If
you are a Skipper, or an Ex-Skipper, please
register below. I have also continued on the
Jungle Cruise Skipper Directory. If you were already
in it at Junglecruise.com, then you are still in
it. If you would like to update or send info,

me your info so I can post it.

There
are currently over 50 registered skippers on the
"Skippers Only" page. For all of you
who registered, you need to go to the discussion
boards and register there too. The password is
still the same. Also. please get the word out to
all of your fellow skippers. This is Your
Online Community!
In order to
access The "Skippers Only" section,
you need to fill out a short form with a few
simple questions. Once you fill out the form,
you will receive the password, and access to the
Skippers Only Discussion Board. Please fill
out the whole form. Also, if you are not a Cast
Member on The Jungle Cruise, please do not fill
out this form. I will have a separate section in
the future. Also, if you can include your Tour
of Duty, and Park you worked at I would
appreciate it!
